I am a village boy, born in India. My father is a farmer as well as a carpenter who tried to build a factory in our village. He could not succeed due to poverty and his illness. He did not give up his hope. He gave his best effort for my study to make his dream come true.

I went to schools, colleges, and universities for education to fulfill my father’s dream. As time passed, BSc, MSc, PhD, Post-Doc, etc., are added with my name. In 2012, I moved to HiSIM Research Center at Hiroshima University to work as a researcher and promoted to Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. Here I learned the skills and contents which I am searching from my childhood to make my father’s dream come true.

I lead a happy family. My wife Chaitali take care of my family. My daughter, Arpita thinks that I go to laboratory to build a robot to earn money for her study. I am working towards the robotics products development for our society. I am happy to say that “Hiroshima University has provided me the opportunity to fulfil my father and daughter’s dreams”. Thank you Hiroshima University.
