I am a PhD candidate who came from China in Oct. 2010. This is the first time I visit Japan. The clean environment in either countryside or city shocked me in the beginning I came here. In Hiroshima University, I like the professors, students and staffs very much. They are warm hearted, polite, patient and diligent. Although I never did any study before I come here, all of them, especially my supervisor Prof. Mitiko Miura-Mattausch, did their best to take care of me and make everything clear to me. Their help makes me feel relax to live in a foreign country alone for the first time. The most important thing for me is to study hard and feed back them with my best work.
Japanese study has become a significant part of my life. It makes me happy to communicate with people using Japanese sentences which I have just learnt from the lecture and text books. Badminton also takes a very important place of my free time. A lot of Chinese students play together and exchange information all over the world. This is the happiest time during the whole week study. Cooking is another favorite thing in the weekend. My cooking skill has made a rapid progress since I come here.
In one word, Japan is a beautiful country. I like everything here, including city, countryside, service system, professors, students, and strangers.
